Philippines’ 2012 Palarong Pambansa Goes Digital

For some countries, having a digital national sports is just usual but for a developing country like the Philippines, having one is one of the great leaps so far in the world of sports.

For this year’s Palarong Pambansa, Pangasinan, the host of the event sworn to its countrymen that it would bring the most digital “Palaro” in history.

Palarong Pambansa is an annual sports event in the Philippines among its public schools’ student athletes. It is most often the sports event wherein they would be able to scout potential national players that would represent the country for international competitions.

This is how the Department of Education would be evaluated on how they implement their PE (Physical Education) subject to their students.

For the second time in 17 years, Pangasinan gets to host the event. Pangasinan is one of the tourist spots in the country wherein the renowned Hundred Islands can be found. It’s one of the places wherein ‘beach properties for sale in the Philippines‘ business is at its peak.
