It has been 17 months since Tim McCaskey has been suffering cancer. Sunday, the club announced his defeat against the deadly disease. Truly a sad news to hear especially to those Bears fans. At exactly one week ago, the club was also defeated in their NFC championship game against the Green Bay Packers. It has hindered the team to advance to the prestigious Super Bowl XLV. This event will take place in Arlington, Texas at the Cowboys Stadium this coming February 6, 2011.

Tim McCaskey served the club as VP in 1993 after a four-year, part-time affiliation with the club. He is the second-oldest of team matriarch Virginia and Ed McCaskey’s 11 children. Before he joined the club, he spent 18 years working for IMC Fertilizer Inc. and its predecessor and seven with Ernst & Young. He is survived by his four children, eight grandchildren, 10 siblings and mother.
