Lance Armstrong has been fighting for all his trophies against all those people accusing him of doping. He has been consistent in denying all the allegations until just recently.

Those who are currently searching for Philippines real estate for sale online decided to watch the television that time just to hear what Armstrong will be confessing.

Armstrong came in sorry and apologetic and let Oprah Winfrey air everything. He admitted all the allegations and decided to put an end on it. Armstrong is so aware that after all of this he will be losing all his titles and will be facing a lot of lawsuits. His well-pampered life will be taken from him in an instant.

He reasoned out that he can no longer bear the fact that his kid has been defending him with something not worth fight for and he said that it is so unfair.

During his interview, majority of the viewers pity him at the same time felt proud of his courage. However, even though he confessed, there are a lot of people who don’t believe him fully because accordingly he didn’t confess everything.

Based on the interview, Armstrong said that he no longer engage into doping since 2005 but it was found that he is having a significant number of mature red blood cells that can’t be achieved in the normal cell growth. This just indicated that he has had blood transfusion lately.

For this year’s Palarong Pambansa, Pangasinan, the host of the event sworn to its countrymen that it would bring the most digital “Palaro” in history.

Palarong Pambansa is an annual sports event in the Philippines among its public schools’ student athletes. It is most often the sports event wherein they would be able to scout potential national players that would represent the country for international competitions.

This is how the Department of Education would be evaluated on how they implement their PE (Physical Education) subject to their students.

For the second time in 17 years, Pangasinan gets to host the event. Pangasinan is one of the tourist spots in the country wherein the renowned Hundred Islands can be found. It’s one of the places wherein ‘beach properties for sale in the Philippines‘ business is at its peak.

If you’re a retiree and is looking for retirement homes in the Philippines, then you should check the some of them in Pangasinan. Truly one of the places that the Philippines has been treasuring.

Philippines is a known basketball fanatic country. However, as time goes by, more and more sports are slowly coming and the citizens of the Philippines are also embracing it wholeheartedly.

The recent hype brought out by the Philippine Azkals gave way for a lot of Filipinos to be liking soccer and learning the basics of the game. In fact, the Chelsea Soccer School is opening a branch in the country very soon to train young soccer players.

Another controversial sport that Filipinos would mostly like to learn is Rugby. The Philippine Volcanoes of or the Philippine Rugby team is encouraging their fellowmen to begin liking and playing the game. Captain Michael Letts encourages Filipinos to give the sport a try.

Their recent win against Singapore for the Asian 5 Nations Division I opened a door for sport to be known to the country.

“It doesn’t matter what size you are, there’s a position for you,” said Letts.

“Because Filipinos are skillful and they’re fast, rugby is a great sport for them to adapt to,” he added.

The members of the PH Volcanoes are veyr willing to share their time to teach whowever wants to learn the game.

More and more sports related activities are happening in the country lately that would lure the youth from doing unproductive things. This is just making the country an athlete producing one aside from being a haven of lavish natural resources. The latter is already proven and tested as more and more foreign and local investors are looking forward in acquiring retirement homes in the Philippines. Some are also very willing to invest in beach properties for sale in the Philippines business and would rather stay in the country for good.

It’s a dream come true indeed for the Younghusband brothers. Phil and James Younghusband are half Filipinos who are playing for the Philippine Azkals. They found The Younghusband Football Academy and has been training youngsters to play soccer. Their summer camp started today, April 17 and will resume on April 19, 24, 26, and May 3, 8 and 10. On May 15, they will also officially launch the football school along with the finale of the summer camp at the SM Mall of Asia.

The Younghusbands together with Paul Kam and coach Dave Stewart of the Chelsea Soccer School Hong Kong worked hand in hand to realized the dream school.

“The partnership was a logical one and I’ll have to say that it is an honor for Chelsea to be able to put up the first foreign soccer school in the Philippines,” Paul Kam, the head of the ProEvents said.

Teaching young Filipinos would be the best way to produce soccer stars in the future and with this kind of school around, it would be very much possible. The Younghusbands were products of the Chelsea Soccer School.

Philippines is already a nice place to stay and with this school around, it would eventually make the country an athlete producing one. The presence of this school will help the youth from doing time consuming and unproductive things like looking for russian girls seeking men online or better yet lure them away from engaging in mail order bride russian hobby.

The 5-months labor dispute resulted to a 55-days late NBA season and it totally wrecked the day of millions of basketball fans in the world.

“An NBA-less year is totally heart-breaking,” says C. Kelly, an avid NBA fan who’s into boats for sale in Philippines. “Good thing they were able to patch things up for the Holidays,” Kelly added. Basketball is said to be the national sport in the Philippines and they contribute that much to the millions of NBA viewers.

The NBA season will have five games on Christmas Day and they are as follows:
Boston Celtics at New York Knicks, 12 p.m. ET | TNT
Miami Heat at Dallas Mavericks, 2:30 p.m. ET | ABC
Chicago Bulls at Los Angeles Lakers, 5 p.m. ET | ABC
Orlando Magic at Oklahoma City Thunder, 8 p.m. ET | ESPN
Los Angeles Clippers at Golden State Warriors, 10:30 p.m. ET | ESPN

The players and the association were able to come up with a collective bargaining agreement November 26 and both agreed on a new labor contract. “The new collective bargaining agreement is designed to provide more competitive balance for our league, reward strong performances by our players and strengthen our game by improving its economics,” NBA Commissioner David Stern said in an open letter to fans.

This is indeed one of the best Holiday presents this year. Happy basketball Holidays everyone!

It is just going to be a friendly match but both teams promised to give each other a hard time.

LA Galaxy just had a tough match in Indonesia at the game finished with 1-0. “We expect the game here to be exactly the same [with the game in Indonesia]. We know that there’s some talented players here. We expect a very difficult game,” says Beckham.

Team Azkals is a group composed mainly of Filipino mestizos who came from different foreign leagues. Pure Filipino and co-captian Chieffy Caligdong will be leading the game along with the strong striker Fil-Brit Phil Younghusband. He said that the Azkals will be employing a more defensive strategy. Their Captian Ali Borromeo couldn’t play because of knee injury but would still be present for moral support. Caligdong is also thrilled of the match and even describe it as a “dream come true” match.

This is a very rare chance of the Azakals to get to face a tough and famous team that’s why so many Azkals fan will be sparing some time on December 3 to watch the game. Chris Bech, a expat in the country who is also a soccer fan will be airing the game in his resort for the visitors to witness. It is an event that someone like Chris Bech missed the most and will not hesitate to spend time with.

SHANGHAI — The NBA’s version of the Ming dynasty is done. After helping pro basketball gain a foothold in the world’s most populous market, Chinese star Yao Ming has retired.

The Houston Rockets center, who has become a household name in China and one of the stars of the NBA since his career as the top draft pick in 2002, confirmed weeks of speculation about his retirement by stating: “I will formally end my career.”

Yao played eight seasons in the NBA, but missed 250 regular-season games the past six years.

Yao said he had been steeling himself for this day and thanked his family and friends for helping him handle the decision to stop playing.

“I am ending my athletic career and am retiring from basketball,” Yao said through an interpreter at a plush Pudong hotel on Wednesday. “Basketball has given me so much. It has led me to a bigger and brighter stage to showcase my abilities.”

Yao said he will return to work with his former Chinese team, the Shanghai Sharks, with the possibility of becoming general manager. He plans to continue his philanthropic work with his Yao Foundation.

“Yao Ming has been a transformational player and a testament to the globalization of our game,” Stern said in a statement. “His dominant play and endearing demeanor along with his extensive humanitarian efforts have made him an international fan favorite and provided an extraordinary bridge between basketball fans in the United States and China”, NBA commissioner David Stern said.

He thanked his family, friends, coaches in China and in Houston and fellow competitors like Shaquille O’Neal “for making me a better player.”
Fans were disappointed they would no longer be able to see Yao in the NBA, but recognised his influence.

“I started playing basketball because of Yao Ming. I watched him play in the NBA and then decided to learn basketball,” 15-year-old student Li Ao told CCTV. “Yao Ming’s achievements in the NBA got more and more young and old fans involved in the sport in China.”

Yao’s contract expired after last season, and the Rockets said they were interested in re-signing him if he came back healthy. Yao said in April in China that his professional future depended on his recovery from a stress fracture in his left ankle.

In post-grand prix comments to Red Bull’s own people/website, Sebastian Vettel is urging the team to learn lessons from the British Grand Prix and to “refocus” for the two races coming before Formula 1?s summer break.

Alonso made the most of updates to the Ferrari car and a crucial mistake from Red Bull in the pits to get ahead of Vettel into the lead of the British Grand Prix, and was then able to take a victory that allowed him to return to the top step of the podium for the first time since the inaugural Korean GP in October last year.

Despite his victory, Alonso remains a whopping 92 points behind Vettel in the championship standings while Ferrari has scored only half the points of Red Bull in the constructors’ championship, with McLaren splitting the two teams in the standings.

“It was a lesson to learn,” Vettel told Red Bull Racing’s website. “It is now up to us to refocus and to come back stronger in the next two races.

“It is a very important time now for the championship.”
“It was a tough race and Ferrari were very quick, Fernando in particular,” Vettel said. “We need to accept this and to understand you get beaten. We are in a good position still but we need to keep working otherwise the others will get too close for our liking.”

Do you think there is anything Vettel should be doing right now to pull his team together, beyond putting pictures of his engineers on his helmet? Is this a moment where he needs to step up or is the British GP just one race, and a race Vettel easily could have won if you do the usual “if this, and if that, then this” calculations?

Vettel leads the championship by 80 points with 10 races to go but fears Ferrari are capable of closing the gap.

But there is a subtle line between rallying the troops to push on and being hysterical that things have gone wrong. I’m sure he’s on the right side of that divide, but — since there seems to be a consensus that Vettel hasn’t yet faced real pressure — maybe it is something to watch during July.

The season resumes with back-to-back races at Germany’s Nurburgring on 24 July and, a week later, the Hungaroring on the outskirts of Budapest in Hungary.

Yamaha’s defending champion Jorge Lorenzo held off a strong Honda challenge to win the Italian MotoGP last Sunday, cutting into Casey Stoner’s championship lead.

Australian Stoner led for the opening 17 laps but was caught with six laps to go, Lorenzo overtaking brilliantly on the inside before stretching clear.

Stoner was then ambushed by Honda team-mate Andrea Dovizioso on the final lap, and had to be happy with third place on the podium.

Lorenzo’s victory just cuts Stoner’s lead at the top of the standings to 19 points after eight races of the season, while Dovizioso remains third.

“I’m so happy,” he said. “Casey was so quick but little by little, lap by lap I managed to catch him. I saw the opportunity [to take Stoner] on the downhill.”

Stoner blamed the hot weather condition for playing havoc with his tyre grip, which resulted in him noticeably slowing down in the latter stages.

“I did everything I could,” he said. “The tyre pressure went up too high and I lost all grip in the rear and you can’t do anything without it.

Cal Crutchlow of Britain failed to finish because of set-up problems with his bike which has made him convinced he would crash if he did not retire.

“We have struggled for a set-up all weekend and I was wide at every single corner out there,” Crutchlow told.

“In the end I decided to pit. It is devastating for me because I never give in, but I have a career to think about and I didn’t want to crash.”

Stoner still leads the championship 28 points clear of Lorenzo.

Carlos Tevez has rocked Manchester City by telling them he has to leave the club for the sake of his family.

City had been fearing their captain would leave this summer, but hoped he would have a change of heart. However, on Monday night he confirmed their worst fears.

Currently playing for Argentina in the Copa America, Tevez, 27, spoke to City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak to explain his decision.

The Argentina captain helped City finish third in the Premier League last season and qualify for the Champions League for the first time.
The striker stressed that he needed to live in a country where his family will be happy to join him.

“Living without my children in Manchester has been incredibly challenging for me. Everything I do, I do for my daughters, Katie and Florencia. I need to be closer to them and to spend more time
with them.”

“It is with great regret that I have to inform Manchester City of my wish to leave the club,” the striker said in Monday’s statement.

“I would like to state that I have great respect for the club, its supporters and the owner Sheikh Mansoor, who has been nothing other than respectful to me.

“I hope that the people understand the difficult circumstances I have been living under the past 12 months, in regards to my family.

Tevez, who signed a five-year contract with City following a £25.5m move from Old Trafford, thanked the club’s hierarchy for their support and asked for fans to empathise with his personal predicament.

Tevez also lifted the FA Cup after a 1-0 victory over Stoke at Wembley in May, City’s first trophy in 35 years.

However, his relationship with Mancini had already been fractured when he submitted a transfer request at Eastlands in December last year, which was later withdrawn.

It is believed they are happy to move to a Mediterranean destination for the warmer climate and way of life.
